Kayla update, update

My birthday wish came true!!!

Kayla was found tonight. The rascal was on the bridge, a bunch of cars stopped and someone was able to get the poor exhausted girl. They took her to PetSmart and someone there recognized her from the flyer Liz put up.

She's safe and warm snuggled with Liz right now.

I am so relieved.

I just got off the phone with Liz...I am SO relieved and so happy that she's home!

Earlier today I asked Bart (my wise senior dog that crossed the Rainbow Bridge last December) to help Kayla find her way home. I never meant for them to take the scenic route over the Hood Canal Bridge! Can you say SCARY!

Whew...am I glad she's home!

Major congratulations to Liz, and much heartfelt thanks to some of the local folks who got on board and helped search, post flyers, etc. There aren't words to tell you how much I appreciate your wonderful response!

Welcome Home Kayla! Sleep well tonight sweet girl!

Best, best news! Thank you, thank you so much for your email -- and I'm so glad we could help you all out in looking for her. :) I'm glad she's home safe and sound and out of the woods so to speak! :D

One thing that's nice - there's a lot of dog folks out here, and they sure will stop and help and keep an eye open! Thank goodness!

Wiccan,

Your response was simply AWESOME! I can't imagine anyone else who would have even considered taking on a trek in those woods, complete with bears...who thankfully did not make their presence known!

Your tracking experience and all of the time and effort you put into the search are so deeply appreciated! Not to mention all the moral support!

Thanks SO MUCH!

Hugs,
Kathy
